Jen Stoll, Owner & Lead Guide - Elementary

Jen Stoll has backgrounds in education and social work, which both focused on human development. After a few years in traditional education, she knew the methods she was being taught and forced to use in the classroom were ineffective and less-than-engaging. Her search for methods that placed child (and adolescent) development as the focus led her to Clay-Platte Montessori, where an elementary training course in 2004 provided solutions to the problems she had been facing in the classroom.

Even her first brief experiences in Montessori classrooms felt like she had found her home. She is pleased to serve as a guide for 6-12 year olds.
