Jen Stoll
Jen Stoll, Owner
Jen Stoll has backgrounds in education and social work, which both focused on human development. After a few years in traditional education, she knew the methods she was being taught and forced to use in the classroom were ineffective and less-than-engaging. Her search for methods that placed child (and adolescent) development as the focus led her to Clay-Platte Montessori, where an elementary training course in 2004 provided solutions to the problems she had been facing in the classroom.
After becoming the Lead Guide for a Lower Elementary class in 2011, Jen also served as an Upper Elementary guide and school director. In August 2016, Jen bought Clay-Platte Montessori. Her focus is on providing a school environment dedicated to the development of the whole child.
