CeCe Holt, Reading Specialist

CeCe has served Clay-Platte in numerous roles. Her true niche and passion, though, is working with children who are learning to read. She makes mundane work engaging and fun. Children love going to her for reading support.

Trained in Orton-Gillingham, CeCe utilizes this research-proven method for building phonemic and morphemic awareness. She is able to reach children that have even the most difficulty reading, through her gentle humor, her consistency, and her tenacity.

CeCe also directs the Orton-Gillingham tutoring program at Clay-Platte Montessori School. This program serves children and adults from around the metro.
