In the middle school program, there is a thematic approach to learning – evolving from everything that has been done to this point. Abstract concepts such as the qualities and virtues of life are introduced. The students become involved in hands-on activities that expand to practical application outside of the classroom. Land-based learning (study of the environment) is a large part of the curriculum. Currently the students are raising chickens and angora goats and learning from their vegetable garden as part of their curriculum.
